NATIONAL CONFERENCE
NATaT's Schedules America's Town Meeting for September 30-October 1, 2008The National Association of Towns and Townships (NATaT) will host its annual conference, “America’s Town Meeting,” in Washington, DC on September 30-October 1, 2008. America's Town Meeting provides participants with an important opportunity to meet with their Members of Congress and help make the voice of towns and townships heard in Washington, DC. The conference also provides opportunities for NATaT members to network with their colleagues and share best practices, lessons learned, and strategies for success. This year's conference dates are later than usual due to Congress being out of session in early September for the Republican National Convention. Special trips at the event include a twilight bus tour of national monuments, a walking tour of DC's haunted homes, and a visit to Old Town Alexandria and Mount Vernon.
